Saying it with flowers
On Valentine’s Day, Kay Govender decided to spread a little love among her fellow residents at John Conradie House and Langeler Towers by offering a “Buy me a rose” service.
Those who chose to participate could select a friend, neighbour or loved one to receive a red rose, along with a personal message of love, appreciation or support.
Recipients of the thoughtful gifts were surprised and touched when Kay knocked at their doors to deliver their special gift. Isn’t it wonderful how even
small acts of kindness can make others feel so loved and special?
Even though your contributions to Tafta don’t come with a rose, they are also acts of kindness that come with their own unspoken message of love and care. We are all so grateful for your support.
