Tafta Golf Day at Cotswold, a swinging success!
In celebration of our 67th anniversary, we hosted our annual golf day with a fresh spin.
This year we hosted at Cotswold Downs Golf and Country Estate in Hillcrest – opening us up to new networks. With overall backing of the event exceeding expectations, we are proud to share that on the day we had 17 competing teams, 6 tee sponsors and 10 prize sponsors – culminating in support from 26 different corporates!
Our CEO, Femada Shamam expressed her gratitude for the generosity shown on the day, saying; “We were very privileged to have a dear friend of Tafta, Mr Darren Maule, participate in our Golf Day tournament and emcee our prize-giving event. His charismatic antics coupled with the generous hearts of our players resulted in a hilarious auction of mock prizes. We received an incredible amount of generous support for our Meal Delivery Service, and great feedback from our golfers who expressed feelings of gratitude for the great vibe which was amplified by the satisfaction of contributing to a worthy cause. I cannot say thank you enough – to each individual that contributed to the success of the day, to every player who gave their all on the field and to all sponsors who were present with us through their giving. Finally, to the Tafta team that coordinated the event – I say a very hearty well done!”.
With the funds raised through this event, we will be able to supplement over 2600 meals – securing just over 15% of our goal to sustain the Meal Delivery Service for the year. With YOUR help and support, we can make it all the way to 100%.
