Honouring our Carers on Women’s Day
While our carers receive specialised training, a good caregiver has qualities that cannot be taught. Top of the list is empathy and compassion for others, coupled with a helpful nature. These are the people who automatically reach out to help others; they are literally unable to turn their back on someone in need.
And, more often than not, they’re women. Simply because women naturally play the nurturing role within families.
At Tafta, we’re proud of our caregivers, whether they work within our residences or as home-based carers for elders in the community. Please consider jumping onto our Facebook page on Women’s Day, and leaving a message of support and thanks for these admirable women. If you, or someone you know, needs a qualified and compassionate caregiver, please contact us.
