Back in Time with our resident volunteers
How do you say, “Thank you” to the wonderful band of resident volunteers who keep our homes running smoothly?
From checking in on neighbours to helping with events, lending a hand with building upkeep and assisting with administrative tasks, these volunteers go above and beyond to make our community warm, caring and connected.
In June we acknowledged their efforts by treating over 220 resident volunteers to a delightful “Back in Time” celebration. Black-and-white décor set the nostalgic scene, while popcorn snacks added a playful touch.
Lunch and a show
Then came a delicious lunch followed by sweet treats – and a show-stopping concert by Northwood School that had everyone smiling, clapping, and tapping along. Staff and volunteers embraced the theme with fun outfits, joining in the laughter and making the day truly memorable.
This celebration was a heartfelt thank-you to our resident volunteers – their time, talent, and energy make every day at Tafta brighter. It was a wonderful reminder of how much joy and friendship these volunteers bring to life in our homes.
