40 years of dedicated service
Recently, we held a retirement celebration for one of our longest-serving members of staff. From the young man of 24 who first walked through the doors of Ocean View in 1984 to today’s seasoned handyman, December Ntuli is a shining example of dedication and hard work.
During his career, December’s sure touch has been felt numerous buildings – Ocean View, John Conradie House, Ray Hulett House, Hollywood Court, Tafta Lodge, Port-o-Fina, St martin’s Village, Kings Hall and Langeler Towers. With every building, every project and every team, he touched so many lives and built so many friendships. His commitment to excellence has been unwavering – built on genuine passion to ensure that our buildings are safe for the elders who live in them.
At the retirement function, the entire Tafta team wished December well. “We know you’ve truly enjoyed your work, and your passion for maintenance and problem-solving has been contagious. The many years you’ve spent with Tafta, and the bonds you’ve forged with colleagues and friends alike, will not be forgotten.
“As you step into retirement, we wish you all the best. May this next chapter bring you joy, peace, and time to enjoy the fruits of all your hard work. Thank you for your dedication, your friendship, and for being a part of the Tafta family for 40 years. You will be missed, but we know you leave behind a legacy that will continue to inspire us.”
