For the love of reading

Tafta CEO, Femada Shamam shares some thoughts on WorldBookDay.

“World Book Day reminds me how much our elders enjoy reading – and about the need to encourage a love of reading in young children.

“Call me old school, but I believe that a book should be in the little hands of children long before a cell phone or iPad. And who better to keep it there than a book-loving grandparent?

“If you’d like to encourage the child in your life to read more, why not consider a reading hour at one of TAFTA’s homes? What a win-win!”
